Safe to try again?

Hi all, I had a miscarriage beginning of March. I have had spotting and issues since. Had a ultrasound around 3 weeks ago. They said it was reassuring but does show a blood clot like 1cm. They said they don't do anything for it but gave me some abx and said to keep an eye on symptoms. My bloods came back normal and my urine and blood tests were negative for pregnancy. We want to try again. I have just finished my period. Would you try and wait a little longer? I'm worried the blood clot is still there and it would be unsafe for future baby.

honestly speaking i would wait for my body to return to normal. i had a miscarriage in march and then again in april and i believe the second one was because i never gave my body the recovery it needed. baby needs a safe environment to grow in. you would rather wait and have a healthy baby than try again now at the risk of miscarrying again. our time will come soon enough once more. take care of yourself

I think this is a great question for your doctor. They know your specific case and are the best ones to advise you on this. Everyone is different. My best friend got pregnant the cycle after her miscarriage and had a healthy baby. I didn't try for 5 months and that pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage. I ended up needing IVF. Sending you love

I was told by midwife after my first period I could start trying again

We tried again before my first period post miscarriage and got pregnant and everything’s going well

Thanks guys for your replies! This is my second period since this miscarriage but due to the clot I'm not sure what to do. I have contacted GP for advice x
