I’m 41+3 had 4 sweeps since 38 weeks now, lost my plug and had around 48 hours of latent labor contractions but still no baby 😩 plus my hospital is so busy I’ve been on a waiting list for my waters breaking since Saturday 😂 loosing my mind over here
@Paulina oh gosh! I hope baby comes soon for you! I have to start having monitoring regularly once I hit 41 weeks I’ve been told, sounds like loads of fun 🙄🥲
@Molly gosh I’m not surprised you’re losing your mind! I swear pregnancy flew by until I got close to the due date and now everyday is so long! I had a show after my first sweep but nothing happened and I’ve just had another show/mucus plug this morning and some cramping in the night (which stopped) but I’m not hopeful atm
Yup! 40+1 and still hanging in there despite 3 sweeps, mucus plug lost and being 3cm x
Yes 41+3 here! My first was born at 42 so I refuse to believe in due dates and instead have went to ‘due month’ however feeling the pressure from the hospital to book an induction date now 🫠 two failed sweeps so far and another booked for tomorrow so fingers crossed! 🤞
I had a failed sweep and was told my cervix is soft but no sign of dilating I’m currently 40+3 and still no signs 😣really don’t want to be induced!
@Hannah I've already refused an induction at 41 weeks but got automatically booked in for 42 weeks (42+3 by hospital dates but they messed those up and I point blank refused to go by theirs!). The induction ward at my hospital is a dingy, depressing corridor converted into a ward and I have no intention spending any time there so might just refuse the 42 weeks one as well but we'll see, hopefully things happen on their own by then 🤞
@Hannah yes the hospital have started pressuring me a little, they have just kept telling me it’s against their policy to go over 41 weeks and I have to speak with a doctor later this week
@Paulina I was induced with my first and on a ward with multiple women, one of whom absolutely drove me insane 🙃😂 I was rageful being stuck next to her 🤣 and realise that now was probably not great for getting labour going itself
Nearly 42 weeks here. Finally started losing my plug (after a semi-successful sweep yesterday) and having mild contractions so I'm hoping something happens soon. I'm tired of going to the hospital on a daily basis and getting stuck there for hours just to have one quick test done...
