Probably not overly helpful but the only thing I can suggest is keeping busy with things you enjoy and trying to take your mind off things, and also throw that due date out of the window entirely! I’m 41 weeks today and have been fighting the frustration and impatience hard and the only days I haven’t felt low are the ones when I’ve managed to get out of the house or do something fun. And keep reminding yourself that baby will come when they are ready not on a specific date! Hope your little one arrives soon (and mine too🥲)
Im also 39 weeks today too. Had period pains, back pains, hip pains, insomnia ramped up, lost mucus plug, soft bowel movements and some random tightenings... but... no signs of anything happening. I totally feel you! Husband is being great and we're going for daily outings to keep me moving (he's got some annual leave this week). We'll keep there. Just got to literally keep moving! X
Don't obsess with your due date or pregnancy! My husband and I didn't want our baby to come early so that we could celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have made plans to enjoy the time together and to do things we soon won't be able to do anymore, like going out for dinner, to the cinema etc.
No advice, but you are not alone! I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and had my girls at 37 and 38 weeks, so I was not even considering still being pregnant by now 🙈 I am miserable and cannot shift this mood no matter what I try! Maybe a romcom a night to give yourself a little giggle x
