Any tips on how to stop worrying?

I already have a child and often had early scans due to persistent abdominal pain I had back then. I have only had one early scan this pregnancy and they said they couldn’t see a heartbeat but that was probably just down to it being too early. My 12 week scan isn’t until next Tuesday and I’ve been so worried that I’m going to go and get the worst news. I don’t want to worry because it’s really affecting me and my LB is noticing this. I haven’t had any bleeding or pain and am getting nausea symptoms and other symptoms relevant to this stage but is there still a chance that I could get bad news next week with all the above considered? Also how do other mama’s kerb your worries?

With my little girl my first scan was the 12 week one, it’s such a long wait and I also didn’t experience any symptoms so it was quite worrying and daunting going for that scan not knowing if I’m even truly pregnant. All I can say is just stay positive, next week isn’t far off, just keep yourself busy and focus on your LB, all will be fine! If you’re really worried then maybe a private scan could be an option if you can afford it?

I had an early scan (6wks) and they told me it was too early to hear a heartbeat. They said it’s around 16 weeks you can hear it but at 12 weeks you should see a flicker on the screen. I would try not to worry too much. I know it’s easier said than done but stressing can cause issues. Think positive!x

I've not had any symptoms and can't afford early scans. My scan isn't until the 14th June. I can't tell you how to stop the anxiety but I what you to know you are not alone. I have a little girl and found that playing with her more often than I did does help. We got her a water table for the garden yesterday and it's her favourite toy atm
