Shaving before C-section

I had my pre-op today for my elective C-section. At the pre op she told me that I should shave the hair at the top where they will be doing the incision before the surgery. But everything I've read and been told before says that I should stop shaving a week before the surgery. So now I am really confused on what is ...

Amitriptyline

Has anyone been prescribed amitriptyline by a GP during pregnancy? My midwife asked him to for treatment of a pre-existing urinary condition but he told me it’s not safe for pregnancy so refused. Even though NHS website says it’s fine? I feel defeated.

Boy or girl?! 🩷💙

What gender do we think?? Heart rate 150 BPM (if this means anything)😂 this was at 13+1, currently 16+1 🥰🩷💙 I did send to the nub theory and they said 80% chance of girl but said the nub isn’t that visible but based on the bladder etc they think girl. Let me know!🥰🥰

Anyone feeling huuuuge?

I’m 27 weeks and I feel so massive, my stomach is so tight and I feel so much pressure lower down. This is my 2nd baby and don’t remember feeling like this with my first until later on. I’m finding it so hard to comprehend I’ve got 3 months left when I feel like I’m ready to give birth 😂 anyone else feel similar?

GD

So I’ve posted about this before but I wanted to hear more from all of you. So my office never did the gestational diabetes test (I’m going on 29 weeks). It was never brought up or mentioned at all. I’m the one that brought it up and I was given pushback by the nurse. During my follow up appt I brought it up again a...

Safe medication you can take while pregnant.

Just because I seen someone ask about Benadryl so I found my list of other safe things to take just incase someone needs it. It was given to me by my obgyn. And I know some don’t give a list of safe things to take.

Anyone else in a constant state of panic attack? 2 weeks postpartum and I can’t stop this panic attack over how everything is changed. And I cannot get that back. No matter the positive thinking of what’s to be gained.

I wasn’t worried prior to giving birth. I thought I was golden because I cried happy tears at the thought of holding my son. But that feeling is gone.

Irish twins

I’m 3 months pp and just found out i’m pregnant again. I don’t really know how to feel. I’m excited but i’m also a little scared. Does anyone have any experience? It just doesn’t feel real yet and I mostly worry that i’m being unfair to my first born baby.

Anxious about 27 month review

I’ve completed the questionnaire and my LO is only doing 2/3 things in each section and now I’m dreading Monday’s appointment. Not going isn’t an option for me as I feel that may do more harm than good. I’m a FTM and she is my IVF premmie. She’s overcome so many medical hurdles and I guess I’m just worried due to t...

Nervous wreck over here

Went into my obgyn apt. today. I am 39 weeks now. Was hoping to get a cervical check to see how far I was dilated and debated the membrane sweep. Came back with high blood pressure and protein in my urine. On my way to labor and delivery to monitor and see if I’m diagnosed for pre clampsia. I’m a nervous wreck. Doct...
