Husband says hurtful things

Me and my husband have been together for a total of 7yrs and every time we argue he says hurtful things like “the reason I’m miserable is because I’m with you” makes me sad bc we just moved and I thought things were going to change but obviously not.. I just need to vent 🫤 and idk what to do from here.

Poorly or teething

Does anyone else’s baby seem to get a cold when teething? My LO has the past few days been very congested, sneezing runny nose and lots of coughing and over night he’s been sick a few times. But he seems perfectly well in himself, playing nicely and happy. He didn’t do this with his bottom teeth but I think both ...

Toddler doesnt like crumbs on his fingers

So, he's fine with being messy and likes experimenting with different textures etc. But he just hates having tiny crumbs on his fingers and will shout at me to remove them. Anyone else having this at the moment? Im guessing its just because he's seeing more details now? Nothing helpful on google so thought Id ask he...

Berry Hill area groups/classes?

Morning, everyone! 👋 Does anyone know of any baby groups or classes near to the Berry Hill area? I don't drive, and I would love to take my 7 month old to meet some other babies. Ravensdale Family Hub is a bit tricky to walk to from me in this slippy weather. ❄️

Recent challenges with stepson since Fortnite!

Does anybody else have struggles with their kids/stepkids because of Fortnite?! I wish I said no when my stepson asked if he could try playing Fortnite on his Nintendo (he’s 13 coming up) I wanted him to enjoy something to do in the evening after school but I’m regretting it now as he has become so addicted to the p...

Solids

How is everyone’s baby getting in with solids? My 6m old loves food and is doing so well but omg it’s wreaking havoc on his digestive system. He is pooing multiple times a day and now in the night. The night poop wakes him up and he doesn’t go back down for 2 hours 😭 Please tell me it gets better? I’m dreading…

Weaning faces

Has anyone else managed to capture your baby's reaction to a food they're unsure about? Would love to see them. This was Bronte's reaction to a falafel and hummus baby food. 🤣 Bit too adventurous for now, I think!

Food

My lo is born towards end of dec and he’s now refusing to eat meals!!! Yesterday he had scrambled eggs, 2 waffles and 2 rice wafers all day! Today he refused weetabix and had 2 spoons..I know there’s a stage where they refuse foods so can I have ideas that other mums gone thru that works for them in terms of getting...

Daycare???

I’m terrified at the thought of having to put my daughter in daycare. We’ve been soooo lucky up to this point to be able to juggle our schedules between me, hubby, and my mom so that someone is always available to watch LO. But tonight at work I found out I could possible be getting a promotion. The downside is that...

What to do.

My oldest earthbound is 3 years old and is opening doors so I had bought those caps that go over door knobs and he takes them off like they're nothing. He looked me dead in the eyes as he ripped it off and threw it on the floor and walked out of his room. I don't know what else to do because every night he leaves hi...

Does your bf/husband watch your child while you cook/clean/etc?

My bf will not watch our toddler while I’m cooking and won’t cook if I’m watching her. I’m getting rlly annoyed bc she keeps getting into things (she’s very smart and will climb anything she can). Yesterday she poured syrup all over my work desk I had to buy a new keyboard and clean my entire desk off. And when I as...

The Christmas story

I saw a post on Youtube- Reels. It says 'let your kids believe in Santa Claus, you once believed in your Baby Daddy' And I thought 💭 Yea I did. But No Cuz I want my son to always tell me the truth. And I want our mom and son relationship be an honest one. How can I expect Him to be honest with me - if I…

What is your go-to bedtime book each night that baby loves? Put in comments below 👇

McDonald’s

No judgement here, would you let your 3 year old eat a McDonald’s happy meal? My son has been invited to a birthday party where they will go to McDonald’s after and it’s not something I feel comfortable with him eating with such high salt content. I don’t want to upset the mum, so what reason can I give that he won...

Am I making a big deal over nothing?

I am 7 months pregnant and am supposed to be moving in with my boyfriend in the next day or so. He has not helped with any of the planning or packing and has left me to do everything (except pay) by myself. When I ask him to help pack he tells me “it’s not like it’s right around the corner and I’m doing stuff at ou...
