In laws

Just a rant.. and maybe opinion. My partners parents live as a big family in the house and there is a 2 year old that always seems to be ill. Every time they due to visit someone is ill and they starting to feel poorly too so I get a message asking if it’s still okay for them to come. I say no as I would rather him ...

Academy or school

Applying for primary schools for my daughter for next year. What are your opinions? Unsure which is better. The academies I’ve researched have better performance standards etc.. This is all brand new to me and I’m clueless 🤣

Is anyone planning a baby moon holiday and if so, where are you going? I’d like to get a holiday in before baby arrives in June (hopefully we’ll go March ish time) Kind of worried about going abroad but still tempted, only places warm but without Zika and within a reasonable flight time seems to be Canaries or sou...

In laws

In laws didn’t show up to my son’s 2nd birthday last month because they decided to create drama. Long story that I don’t feel like explaining. Now they’re sending money as a Christmas gift and acting like they never did anything wrong. Are we obligated to forgive them and act like they never did anything wrong?

Weaning

Is anyone else absolutely petrified of weaning? My little boy is showing all the signs so we’re going to start weaning; he’s tried purées and I never know how much to give him at the moment it’s just half a pouch every other day as “first tastes”. I’m scared to start anything he needs to chew in case he chokes but I...

Potty training

What’s ‘normal’? Day 1 - 3 accidents, day 2 - 3 accidents and day 3 - 2 accidents. Is this fairly normal? Are we going in the right direction by the sounds of it? The accidents don’t upset LO and sometimes they just been because she hasn’t held it all long enough to get to the potty

Is anyone else still breastfeeding and finds little one prefers boob to food? My little one usually ate well, but he’s been poorly with colds on and off, flu & HFM since November. He’s definitely lost his appetite throughout. He’s seemed to get better this past week however does not want to eat. Today he’s ate a b...

I am SO fed up with changing poopy pull-ups and I just LOST it today and stripped down my LO to go completely bare lower half.
