My eldest was nearly 3 and a half (and average for her height and weight) when I got pregnant with my second. She was mobile but very lazy and wanted carrying a lot, and there were no problems. I latterly would have her on my shoulders rather than on my hip and that helped. Sending lots of best wishes!
Thanks for your replies ladies. My husband works but we agreed he will be around more later on in the pregnancy. I have plenty of family support but they don’t live with me so it’s the day to day and I’m okay with lifting heavy later on. I was just worried about miscarrying at the beginning xx
Im 5mths pregnant and regular pick my 2 year old up but that’s for cuddles, might be harder for you as your baby needs additional help. It’s going to get harder as you get bigger. Where is the father, or your family. They are going to have to be around more and also after the birth. If you have a c-section then you won’t be able to do anything like that for a weeks and weeks after. Maybe work out a plan now. Can your partner wfh more towards the end of your pregnancy? Or family stay with you for stints of time,
