I have! My little dude is quite big so one meal wasn’t enough! 😂

@Elena when did you change to 3 meals a day? I think I might need to but I’m worried I might be over feeding 😂

@Elena thank you!

@Elena thanks! We’ve only been going for a month. Would you say that’s too early?

At the moment she is just on lunch. Thinking of changing this to breakfast and dinner? What did you do x

We started out almost immediately with two meals a day - breakfast and dinner just because then there was a chance both me and my husband got to see her eating everyday atleast once a day and take part in the excitement with starting weaning. She is BLW but with a mix of puree and finger food and often doesn't eat everything but that's also because the portion sizes vary a bit too depending what we are giving her.

I think the general guidance I've seen is 6-7months 1 or 2 meals, 7-8 months 2 meals, 9 months 3 meals, 10-11 months 3 meals and a snack, 12 months 3 meals and 2 snacks. But that's very general guidance and every baby will want different amounts. I don't think there is any harm you offering a second meal, especially if you let them decide how much of that meal they want.

@Elena this is the same as my little girl xx

I started with tasters at 4.5 months (a teaspoon or two) and now he’s at 3 meals a day. I am just following his hunger cues, I’ll offer him the three and let him eat until he doesn’t want anymore. He loves food. I did see as well that maybe he should only be on two meals a day but I can’t revert now, I suppose his stomach has expanded and adjusted to the three meals hes wanting to eat.

@Elena what do you call a sweat treat for a 6 month old?
