37 weeks is still considered full term. Adjusted ages are typically only used for preemies.
3 weeks early is early full term, so they should hit milestones around the expected timeframe, not adjusted. But remember, milestones are just guidelines and every baby can reach them at different ages.
Follow your pediatrician's lead. Eventually the milestones are spread out more and that 3 weeks will be insignificant. As Nicole said-they are more of a guide and not every full term baby reaches them at that time. Personally, I work toward whatever is "next" not age per say. Gross motor skills are excelling in my first so he's months ahead there, but language sucks and he is way behind. I don't stop working on gross motor because he's got it, I figure out what's next and work on that. Think of it like subjects in school. If they are good at math, they don't stop taking math, they learn the next thing.
My son was born 8 and half weeks early so we go by his corrected age for most milestones
Based on birthdate, my first was also born 3 weeks early and pediatrician based her milestones off her birth date, still does. I would tell myself stuff like "oh I don't need to worry she was born 3 weeks early" but she started walking at 9 months and after that I don't really pay much attention tbh she's doing great
On the wonderweeks app they use the due date, not sure what's right myself but following that as it's on the app I'm using
my son was born at 36 weeks so considered premie. My dr. uses adjusted milestones
We had ours at 36+1 and our height and weight measurements were done adjusted and non adjusted but otherwise no real talk of it. It isn't a race and once your little one starts to grow you'll be sad that he's so big now and you'll put clothes away and cry. Don't be in a rush 🥰 they're so cute when they're so small!

My son was born at 37 weeks. I did ask our pediatrician about this at the time - she said adjusted milestones are typically only for those born at 36 weeks or earlier. My son is almost 3 now and always met every milestone on time or early. I never adjusted anything for him.
