Prediabetic

Just found out yesterday that I'm "technically" prediabetic. Anyone else? Any tips? I just started phentermine today, and I'm working funds around for a gym membership. I love water, and a lot of the foods and things that are pretty bad for me are foods I don't really like anyway. Just sharing here bc I don't know ...

Royal London Hospital 6E complaint

Recently I have had some symptoms and had to wait 4 hours to be triaged but the dr I have seen was so rude and told me off since I was quite anxious. I had contractions and I didnā€™t know if my symptoms would affect my baby(32 weeks). I am very upset with the service that I have received and the midwife has lost my c...

Midwife - Care Team

Does anyone know how involved the care team are throughout pregnancy? Iā€™ve had my booking appointment today and Iā€™ve been assigned my midwife and care team on badger notes but I went to school with 2 of the midwives on my care team, one of which I really donā€™t feel comfortable with.

What are the steps when you find out youā€™re pregnant in Newcastle

I called my gp surgery, they asked me to create a badger notes account. I tried to sign up for it, but it requires a passkey given by midwife. I looked up midwifes for Newcastle areas and found some contacts on nhs website but they donā€™t pick up the phone and it goes into voicemail and they donā€™t contact back aswell.

Dating

What are your dates that helped you get the due date? Mine seem really off but wanted to get some comparisons. Iā€™m Wondering whether the baby is just tracking small. My mum had it with all of her pregnancies because she was so sick.

Consultant led at Royal Derby

Hi everyone, I have been under midwife led care for the majority of my pregnancy but was moved to consultant led care at 32 weeks due to the monitoring of pre-eclampsia. I just wondered if anyone knows whether I should expect to see the same consultant every time or if itā€™ll just be whoever is available? I didnā€™t ...

night nurse/doula?

hi! I am due at the end of May and wondering if anyone has recommendations for a part-time overnight nurse/doula? Most Iā€™ve talked to are 24 hours or minimum 5-7 nights a week and weā€™d like a bit more flexibility. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

When I was discharged from the IVF clinic they recommended a C section and that I shouldnā€™t go over 39 weeks, but Iā€™m 37 weeks tomorrow and still have no C section date from my local hospital. Having spoken to them they said I will...
