Consultant led
I'm consultant led with my second baby due to having a traumatic birth with my first baby almost 2 years ago. I thought with consultant led you would have regular appointments and check ups with the doctor. I haven't seen a doctor since 14 weeks and I'm now 25 weeks. My next appointment isn't until the 27th December. Is this normal for consultant led? I also found out at 20 weeks I have placenta previa so to thought they would keep an eye on that too

With your placenta they will most likely check it further along in your pregnancy to give it time to move. They found out my placenta was covering part of my cervix at 20 weeks, I'd a scan at 31/32 weeks and it was far enough away from the cervix that it was no longer an issue. They will check it but they won't check it regularly because it takes time for it to move.
When I was consultant lead, it was every two weeks from 28 weeks on. The 12 week app, 20 week app and possibly a 24 week one before that

Ahh OK this all makes me feel better. I'll be 28 weeks at my next appointment, so maybe I'll be seen more often after then

My consultant appointment was initially 16 weeks & then just midwife apps until consultant again at 28 weeks, after 28 weeks i seen the consultant every 2/3 weeks until my due date x
