They are really more resilient than people give them credit for.
My advice is to get a really good prenatal. I’ll post mine. I think that’s made a difference for me. I didn’t change anything big time just try to stay healthy hydrated and positive!
A fertility professional once told me statistically speaking your embryo quality determines about 80% of the outcome and your womb condition is about the other 20%. What you do or eat during the transfer period is like 0% (of course without smoking and alcohol!) So try to relax and distract yourself I’d say is the best prep.
I didn't prep at all! Took it easy 2 weeks after transfer otherwise zero lifestyle changes. Continued to work out as allowed and ate like I always did. I was more intentional about water intake but that's it. First transfer worked! I didn't do any of the old wive's tales besides french fries only bc I love them and why not 🤷🏼♀️
I didn’t massively change anything. I tried to eat a bit more nutritiously (I followed some healthygirlkitchen recipes on instagram) but I still ate chocolate / cakes / take away. I took vitamin d and folic acid as recommended by the clinic, I’ve also taken an omega 3,6,9 supplement, but solely because I am vegetarian. Otherwise I would have just eaten more fish. I also had a concentrated pomegranate shot twice a day. Did my transfer last Wednesday and baby has currently stuck. I also have a 16 month old and did similar in the transfer for her. A lot of transfer stuff is just old wives tales. Most won’t harm you if you feel it gives you more control but you also don’t need to be following some strict diet and taking a load of unregulated supplements for it to work. Also as I have a toddler I have had 0 rest after the transfers, I still have to pick them up and carry them and they have been teething so I am running on a lack of sleep and baby is still hanging around.
