I hate eating raw veggies I usually steam them or cook them into dishes so I eat them

You still need carbs to function. Pair your carbs with protein and healthy fats. Good protein intake is key. So if you are having rice or bread, it’s best to just not have alone. Protein helps slow down digestion which will help balance out your blood sugars. The less processed carbs the better. Also fiber helps. That is what I tell my patients. Vegetables and fruits are also carbs by the way so you still have to be careful how you eat them. The more you steam/blend vegetables the more you break down the good fibers. Also don’t skip the bedtime protein snack. You don’t want to wake up feeling nauseous or like you are having a crash. (Feel free to message me if you want to discuss more details/specifics)

What Haj said and water, water, water. I know that we have to pee all the time anyway, but that helps keep and bring sugars down as well. You've got this momma!
