Yeah I presumed that is what they would go through, but I just find it strange Becuase I thought it would be face to face so they could give you a monitor but maybe the trust I’m with does it differently? Or they just haven’t uploaded the results yet. We’ll see on Thursday I guess, she midwife did call me at 4 and I know my team are 8-4 so maybe it’s just that it was so close to the end of the day
I had diagnosis last week and midwife called me to pick up my kit. Then they arranged teams call for all the info. I guess all the trusts are different but I am sure you will get all the information on teams x
I’m sure they’ll tell you on Thursday if you ask/want to know. I got my testing kit from the pharmacy, they didn’t give me it, but it may be different in different areas/trusts
Oh okay, thank you everyone. My mind has been put to rest. Just made me spiral a bit that they’ve told me I have it but haven’t given me any test results to back it up, but I’ll just be patient until Thursday!
I was told in person. I wasn’t told exactly what my readings were. My midwife just said it was the fasting that was high but the other tests were normal.
I didn’t get told the result when I first got the call saying I had it but when i went for the appointment to get my test kit I was told then and it was only just over 😩
Yeah I had my meeting yesterday and my fasting was fine within range, it was just after the drink, I was 8, which is only 0.2 over so very minimal which is so annoying, but I’m hoping that means it’s a little easier to control. So far so good with the testing my bloods too after dinner and before breakfast this morning. So fingers crossed!
Yep I had the same! Got called on the Friday to say I had a high result so was diagnosed, picked up my test kit on the Monday and my score was 7.8 so literally just!! So frustrating
Mine was an old school (in person) appointment and they just went through what I ate on a daily basis and how to make healthier food choices and food pairing etc. Weird they didn’t tell you your results but I wouldn’t worry, if it was anything to worry about they would tell you, not keep it from you. I massively failed mine (11+ after 2 hours) and I managed just fine being diet controlled and healthy baby at the end. Just have a pen and paper to hand during your appointment as it can be an information overload!
