I have hashimoto as well and just got 1 part of my thyroid removed a week before I found out I was pregnant. Just make sure you get you bloodwork done frequently because the dose of levothyroxine will change as your pregnancy progresses. Also my endocrinologist suggested taking synthroid instead of Levo because the formula can change
I have subclinical hypothyroidism and have been on Levothyroxine for over 8 months even before I was pregnant. I do fine on the meds but just make sure you take it right when you wake up and can’t eat anything for an hour after
I have hypothyroidism. My first pregnancy I got my blood drawn in every trimester and if it was normal I was good to go as usual & if it was abnormal they’d adjust my dose of medication and then retest in about 2 weeks. This pregnancy so far I was normal for my first draw. From what I noticed in my first pregnancy I needed my dosage adjusted when I feeling more fatigued than just pregnancy fatigue.
I was born without my third gland in my throat, so I’ve been taking them levothyroxine my entire don’t be too worried. All I do is draw your blood a lot more when you’re pregnant just so they can constantly check your levels and make sure you’re on the right meds and make sure your levels are OK and safe for your baby. I’m currently pregnant with my second baby and there’s completely nothing wrong with any of my kids. They actually just raised my dose on my medication so there’s nothing to worry about. I hope you have a great wonderful pregnancy.
Also once the baby is born they do a blood test from the bottoms of their foot and this will test the baby for numerous things, one of them is thyroid function
I have hashimotos hypothyroidism- was diagnosed 10 years ago. I had a normal pregnancy, they just do your blood work more frequently to check your meds are correct (they had to increase my dose from 75mg to 100mg)
