Midwife

Is the midwife we have for our routine appointments the same when giving birth? With my first it wasn’t but was also in lockdown so may have been why, I mainly ask because I don’t like my routine midwife so don’t really want her when I go into labour, I can put up with it for the appointments! Thanks!

If in the hospital you just get whoever is on shift it might be different for a home birth though

As above. I never saw the same midwife twice for my appointments and it was whoever was on shift at the time who delivered the baby.

The continuity is good, but not if you don't like her 😑 but yeah it will be pot luck if she's on shift wherever you give birth
