How much notice do we get,?

Hi all, I was told Monday I will be induced early due to gestational diabetes by my antenatal doctor. They said no later than 37+6. It's now Sunday, I'm 37+3 and I still haven't had a phone call with a time and date. I'm losing my mind, I just want to prep, make sure someone's here for My cats etc. How much notice do we get??

I had 3 weeks notice so just give triage / your midwife a call if you are worried. Good luck and enjoy your bubba soon💕

It may be hospital dependant but I got given a date around 2 weeks before. Also was being induced to GD and babes estimated weight.However on the day they didn’t have room ( it was suppose to be Boxing Day ) so went the day after. Bubba didn’t arrive until 5 days later as they delayed some of the procures as the labour wards were full . I would definitely chase up - when is your next midwife ? X

I was told at 34wk id be induced for GD at 38-39wks ans that I'd be told a date at my 37wk scan - would depend on blood sugar control if they induced me closer to 38 or 39wks. At my 37wk scan I was told my baby growth had slowed down (dropped from 90th to 50th percentile As cord blood flow was fine it wasn't an emergency to be induced so they booked me in for the following week to be induced at 38wks exactly

I got told on Thursday I was being induced the following Friday give them a call
