Prep Machine

We used this for our daughter and it was an absolute life saver personally. Trying to use breast milk this time but I’m going to take the prep machine out and clean it incase we end up using formula. For the first bit you won’t need prep machine as they take so little but once they get to the 4oz mark it’s worth it in my opinion. We got our friends one for their first and they said it’s a life saver also x

I haven’t used formula myself (my girl was BF) but had lots of friends use and they all swear by their prep machines as being an absolute must have/top 3 items so from what I’ve seen it’s worth it when formula feeding. However go with a decent one like Tommee Tippee. Have seen reports that some machines don’t get to boiling or the temp needed to kill bacteria but the TT machine I believe is quite good/reliable. The Tommee Tippee ones often come up on marketplace/vinted etc too.

I had a prep machine with my first but it made her poorly, they are well known for not meeting temperature so I wouldn’t bother with one again and I’ll be using the Nuby rapid cool for all baby’s feeds. NHS don’t recommend the prep machines at all and if you look on google you’ll find plenty of articles as to why. Xx

I had the prep machine with my first and it was a life saver especially during the night feeds, just make sure you regularly change the filter and give it a clean. I feel like you have to try it with your baby as my daughter never got sick with it but there’s people out there who will say the prep machine did make their baby ill

The prep machine was without a doubt the best thing we purchased for our first baby! Absolute lifesaver!
