If you search midwife gift on somewhere like Etsy I found it came up with a few nice ideas
I believe it can’t be worth more than £25 or they have to politely decline x
No. I barely saw any staff. Even during Labour it was very quick and they had to leave me for an emergency.
I’m just planning to take some chocolates/treats to give them when we leave to share in the staff room.
A CARD! That’s the best present and we keep it forever. It’s also a feedback that we have to provide for revalidation every 3 years. I love getting cards
I got some pin on fob watches (although that was personal partly because midwife said she kept loosing hers) and some little key rings with a nice message and small box of chocolates I was told to make sure to not get anything extravagant as they can get into trouble/ have the gift taken or at the very least have to complete extra paperwork to declare it if the value is considered too high (Hence the pin on watches I got were just basic ones from Amazon but still useful to them) But I should add this was for my third child and I had a home birth so got quite personalised care With my first baby I had a box of celebrations that I gave My second was in Covid lockdown so didn’t get anything
