First fertility clinic appointment
I go to the fertility clinic for the first time at the beginning of January and I’d appreciate any advice/info. on what to expect on your first visit to the fertility clinic. Do I need to bring anything with me? What questions should I ask?? I’m feeling a bit anxious and overwhelmed about it but hopeful at the same time. My husband will be attending the appointment with me. Thanks in advance!

First, I want to say good luck. At my first fertility appointment, we had bloodwork and an ultrasound. Also, my husband had a semen analysis scheduled for a later date. My doctor went over procedures and family history as well as my past history of pregnancies, miscarriages etc. i honestly didnt have specific questions until we decided on what we really wanted to do moving forward. We knew IVF was our best option to be able to have a baby. So of course we asked about risks, success rates, then length of treatment, costs etc. Im currently awaiting our very first embryo transfer on 2/11
