What is everyone doing with their placenta?
I was asked by the midwife if I wanted to keep it. Is anyone keeping it and for what purpose?

We take it home to bury it instead of throwing it away because it was an organ in my body that kept our baby alive 🥰
Straight to medical waste, both times for me.
I didn’t ask to keep my appendix, so won’t be asking for my placenta either.
With my first I didn't even get to see it they just took it away immediately didn't ask what I wanted to do with it. Im not bothered about it being taken away I just wanted to see it
It depends on the hospital as to what the options are, I imagine. No one asked about mine so I'm assuming it went in the bin!
