Will I go full term or will my baby come early

I have mainly good levels and I’m controlling mine through diet but I do have a high BMI 40+ and just wanted to know will I go full term or what kind of time would my baby be here…. I’m 32 weeks tomorrow and I have a growth scan on Friday hopefully he’s not grown too much since he was just below average last time at 2lb 13 I still don’t really have anything prepared or fully ready yet for baby and I don’t want to leave it all too late 😭😭

I had good levels aside from morning fasting which I was medicated for, baby was also measuring at average levels and I was booked for an induction at 39 weeks

I'm in the midst of being induced, but it's my due date night anyway. 99% of my levels were good bar hypoglycaemic levels x4 the whole pregnancy. I had a high BMI, but they weren't going to induce me just cos of that. My baby girl had fluid round her heart 2mm no more, no less, and she also showed to be under the average line for measurements. Edit to update: my baby girl came on the 2nd. She has no problems with her heart, and she was born 7lb 8oz. She's beautiful 🥰

I’m 33 weeks and although my GD has been well managed and baby is a good size.. my consultant advised at my last appointment I will have baby at 38 weeks due to being on insulin now. From my understanding if you have GD but diet controlled and baby is a good size I’m sure they will let you go a little further on although reading some other experiences every hospital seems to have slightly different guidelines they follow. Best of luck x

I had good levels aside from fasting and a few hiccup days where my body changed its mind on safe food. I'm booked for induction at 39 weeks and 5 days.

Last baby bmi 37 induced at 38. This time planned section weight still the same 37/38 because baby already measuring bigger at 20 week scan. They will confirm at 28/32

If youre unmedicated they can leave you until spontaneous labour if its what you want. Just let them know if youre wanting spontaneous or open for induction/csection whichever you pick. Ive had 2 babies with GD and one was tiny and the other was smaller than average so dont stress about size too much. My 1st i was on insulin and induced at 38 weeks, 3rd I insisted on being induced for other reasons at 39 weeks but they was trying to make me wait for spontaneous labour Also my non GD baby (2nd child) was a very big newborn and was the easiest birth so try not to get too stressed out xx

Ive been told with GD + meds we usually get induced at 38/39 weeks so thats what I am expecting. Ive been told by my consultant that if I dont go into labour on my own Ill defo be induced at 39 weeks but I am being prepared in case its slightly earlier xx

When I spoke to diabetes midwife she said if numbers are good and growth scans are fine then the longest they’d let me go is 40+5. But then saw midwife two days later and she said to expect induction by 39 weeks. I’m diet controlled not on medication
