I have it for the first time. I've been monitoring since the day after Christmas.
How have you guys been managing? I know it’s not my fault but I got a high reading after eating a meal for lunch that doesn’t usually spike me at all. I’m just feeling defeated…..yet again
I got one for breakfast the other day too and it made me feel the same way because I know I didn't go over on carbs. I just don't repeat those meals again.
As a ftm, it makes me question where I went wrong but I know that’s just the hormones talking. I can’t wait for this to be over! I’m tired and I’m only 2 weeks in. I was routing for a March baby but if she comes next month, I’ll be happy too!
Yep, I got diagnosed with the GD. Got put on Metformin, definitely helping my numbers! But MFM reminded me that with GD numbers bounce all over the place without rhyme or reason so don’t stress over it, just let your doctor analyze your numbers unless they are significantly high. Although since diagnosis I go for weekly appts starting Thursday.
@Ashley thanks for sharing! I’m starting night time insulin tonight so let’s see how that goes 🤞🏾 I’ve been an emotional wreck lately
@IncognitoSending all the 🙏 and positive vibes your way Momma!
