They book you on the 9th week or the following week. They usually call to book you in or send Letter.
They tend to send you a text or letter (or both) about a midwife appointment and ofc the 12 weeks scan (mine was at 13 + 1) however, if you're worried at all, speak to your GP and they can refer you to the early pregnancy unit. I had a lot of pain early on & so was referred. I was scanned & from the results, they rebooked me every 1-2 weeks, until my 12 week scan

They will probs contact u in a few weeks time and get you booked in for a booking appointment where you recieve your maternity record book, and set you up for scans midwife appointment etc
