I got a phone call at 32 weeks after my consultant appointment booking mine in for 38 weeks, if you have a consultant maybe contact them? However if you go into labour before hand they should just do it for you. I went into labour at 36 weeks and they did it as soon as I was contracting 3x within 10 mins x

I got my date exactly a week before mine I’m sure x

It was a call x

I was told they were going to call me and they didn't so I called them and the receptionist was able to tell my date. I couldn't wait any longer 🤣 I found out 3 weeks in advance but only because I called them 💖

Thanks girls, my consultant has said they won’t contact me it will be done via my midwife, and now she’s telling me consultant. I may call them tomorrow 🤔 x

I had an appointment with my obstetrician and got them to sort the date out. That’s how I got the date and pre op date too

This happened with me where my midwife said one thing and my consultant said another but I phoned my midwife hub and they had someone call me unfortunately they gave me the wrong date 🤣 but I was 38 weeks at the point I phoned and I ended up having my baby at 39+5

My midwife told me yesterday that it's not uncommon to get your date the week before. X

I got given a date at my last scan but then developed Cholestasis right at the end of my pregnancy, so they brought it forward by 2 weeks.

I got mine a week before after baby was measuring big.

@Jessica mine was booked for 38 weeks just because of how big my baby was measuring and how much pain I was constantly in I literally could not walk from 32 weeks I ended up having her at 36 weeks and she weighed 7lb 10oz so I’d dread to think how big she’d of been if I went full term 🤣xx

I chose mine at a scan, then got a letter to confirm x

@Jessica it was definitely a shock considering my first only weighed 5lb when he was born at 37 weeks 🤣xx

I got mine I think quite early around 22 weeks xc

My last one was booked for 39 because I had my previous 2 children at 40 + 1 but then my 3rd born came at 38+5

@Lauren my daughter was born c section at 37+1 and she weighed 8lb2 so I also dread to think how big she'd be if we went full term too 😂

I got a letter through the mail 4 weeks before the date it’s scheduled for - but my friend got a call on Friday saying can you come in today!! And when she couldn’t because she wasn’t prepared or hadn’t arranged childcare for her toddler, they called back to say come on Tuesday. We live in the same city. Both knew we were having c sections - So it varies!
