Yep had a growth scan last week and a bit too much fluid and big belly so got to do a diabetes test on Monday. Pretty similar happened with my first but no GD and all sorted itself out by the birth and was 1 week late.
Hey lovely! I’m 33w and had to have a second GTT because he went from the 52nd centile to the 97th in about 3/4 weeks. He was measuring a good few weeks ahead. They asked if I’d do a second diabetes test which I did, but it came back clear. So I have another growth scan booked in for 2 weeks from the last one, and they’ll see how he’s doing there. If he’s still growing big, they’ll discuss inductions. If he’s levelled out a bit and just had a growth spurt, they’ll just monitor him closely and see how it goes. Try not to worry either way! x
Hi, I'm low papp-a too. I was showing extra fluid, and fluid went back to normal on the next scan. However, I have now been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Baby also has a 2 vessel cord, but everything is looking great with blood flow, and the baby is in the 50th centile. I was worried about the GDM, but it's really not that bad xx

Hey, this popped on my feed… I had similar earlier last year with my April 24 babe. Take their measurements with a pinch of salt, they are not always accurate. I was told from about 17/18 weeks that I had a “big baby” and was told at my 36(+2) scan that she was 7lb11. I went in for RFM & because of “large” measurements was scared into an induction at 38+1. She arrived at 38+4 and was under 7lb!! I also had 2 GD tests, one in January and one in March- both were clear! Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t accept an induction if we lucky to have another babe, I would opt for a planned section over an induction. Do your own research (wish I had done my own) on inductions, sections (planned+emergency) before you make your decision! Whatever you choose, you’ve got this mama ❤️
