My fiance is Persian! I love Sholeh Zard, Salad Olivier, joojeh and gormeh sabzi. I'm canadian white, don't really have a cultural food lol
@s a r a 🥀 how do you make chicken soup?
@Michelle I’ve tried Persian cuisine once and it was definitely tasty. And im sure there’s something at least in your family that is a shared recipe
My husband is African American and I’m Puertorican. I cook fully Puertorican foods for him and he loves them but tbh so far I’ve only liked Mac n cheese and cornbread from his. The rest I’m not too encouraged to try it.
@Denisse my partner is African American as well, if they make gumbo I encourage you to try it it’s sooo good
Im part Mexican and my fiance is caucation. He seems to love it all except Menudo, Horchata, and Tamales, which are my faves. My fiance cooks but nothing is cultural except burgers maybe if that counts.
My husband is Nigerian, I love goat pepper soup and his red sauce with meat and rice the most, also okra stew 🤤 his favorite foods I make are dirty rice and beans, chili and cornbread, and fried fish
My husband is Mexican and I’m Cambodian . For me is probably Posole . For him, it’s technically chicken soup but Cambodian version. lol.
