i declined all, my boy is uncircumcised as well.
I plan on getting it, it is often given as eye drops in the US. Not sure which one my hospital offers.
I’d speak with your doctor about your concerns. I declined hep B and eye ointment at birth, but the benefits far outweigh any possible risks of Vitamin K - the shot will boost their levels far more quickly than an oral supplement would, if something as simple as a vitamin can prevent brain bleeding and permanent disability, I’m 100% giving it to my baby.
Yes I declined it for my first and will again. I also got the drops and gave them to her in hospital
I declined vit K, Eye ointment and hep B, gave oral vitamin K at the hospital in the first 24 hours of life. Hospital staff just had me sign declination paperwork, had no verbal concerns and Baby is healthy and happy :)
I will be declining it for mine. I bought a clean oral Vit K supplement as an alternative and will be bringing it with me to the hospital
