Will my child be okay?

I was playing with my child who is a toddler I sat them on the couch softly throwing them but I guess I was a little to rough then what I thought and her head went to her knees and flew back I’m now terrified of shaking baby syndrome she whined for a second I immediately picked her up comforting her but her head shook a bit when it happened

They are acting fine went back to playing but I’m still scared

I wouldn’t be worried , my toddler pretty much bounces him self of walls weekly 😂. I don’t know how told Your little one is so I’m not how much this info will help but when I child reaches 2 the risk significantly decreases anyways / but again I wouldn’t be worried - if you are really worried though it’s always best to contact your gp

That wouldn’t cause that. If she was knocked unconscious then be worried but she’s good.

If they don't vomit or want to go to sleep after a head injury they're most likely fine!

Nah she's fine probably just more startled her then anything my toddlers are always rough housing and bouncing off my couch or bed

That's nowhere close to "shaking baby" syndrome, don't worry. Unless she conked her head on like a wall or furniture or something I wouldn't worry at all, and even then just keep an eye on her for symptoms like others said. She'll be fine.
