Fish & Nuts

I’m looking at introducing Fish & Nuts separately of course to test both allergies. What is the best way to do this please? & what fish did you use as I know we have to be careful with Tuna because it’s high in mercury

I did peanut butter for nuts and cod fillet for fish

We started with peanut butter using an NHS guide I found. He has quite bad eczema so we was told to do it as soon as possible and then continue with it 3 times a week. Now we’re trying different nuts, currently he’s having cashew nut butter on his pancakes and I just used a small amount first time. When we spoke to an allergen specialist because of the eczema they recommended grinding up other tree nuts and adding it to his meals. We started with tuna first for fish and was recommended to do mackerel, haddock and salmon next. I found my baby had more tuna when I mixed it with Greek yogurt a bit like tuna mayo. Also made it easier to feed him. https://www.uhs.nhs.uk/Media/UHS-website-2019/Patientinformation/Childhealth/Introducing-peanut-into-your-babys-diet-2696-PIL.pdf

We've done peanut butter for nuts and salmon for fish. In fact she had salmon tonight and loved it! We've done peanut butter a handful of times now. You can serve it on toast or added to porridge, or even just abit on its own!
