He might just not be ready. Give it a few days and try again. You don't need to worry, it's all about exploring at this age a 6 months is only a guideline. Milk is their main source of food until 1.

If he not ready he’s not ready x

Please don’t stress! My now 10 month old only became interested at about 7/7.5 months old. Keep trying but don’t be disheartened if he doesn’t want it. Remember ‘food before one is just for fun’. Try and keep to a routine so he gets used to being in the highchair but he’ll get the hang of it soon x

6 months is the guide line for the youngest they recommend u wean it's not a guide line that every baby will ans should be weaning and ready at that age. Same way baby's usually roll over at 4-5 months but some babies don't figure it out until there like 6-8 months. It's a developmental milestone for a baby to want to eat and have the ability to it's not weaning them at 6 months because they need food it's wean them because that's usually around the age babies will want to and can. It's perfectly fine if ur baby isn't interested and doesn't want to yet, go at they're pace x

Baby rice has no nutritional value so I wouldn't bother with it.

6 months is the minimum age to wean , it’s absolutely no stress if they don’t. I’d personally just be giving them the allergens to lick atm if he’s not interested in consuming anything. They don’t need to be eating really but it’s best to get them exposed to allergens early
