Anyone else's child do this?

My daughter is 9 and a half months and cries when we say no. She loves wires particularly the metal ends of wired. I'm forever having to put them out of reach but she find them somehow and starts to eat the metal ends. And when I say no dangerous she cries (ive not even taken it away at this point).

Oh yes! All the time with the wires and chords! Have to cover them with a blanket and then give her something else and she’s usually good but will cry for the moment I take the chords away and then forgets about it! Lol

@Tracie she has learnt how to take blankets off 🫣. She gets very frustrated if it's big enough that 3 pulls won't uncover what she wants and then sits there crying and pulling until I pick her up and try another object which sometimes works to stop the crying but not always because she will just go back to where she knows the wires are or have been put.

@Helen haha smart! The covers work now for my daughter and is like “out of sight out of mind” right now and luckily another toy will help her redirect lol but def will cry and grunt when I first say no touch!

My little boy is obsessed with the tv remote and charger leads you say no he cries n he’s 8 months turning 9months in 2 weeks

Just caught mine with vacuum cleaner charger 🙈🙈 she loves it
