Food / meals etc

Anyone else’s 16 mo just not interested in eating? Weaning has been awful. She didn’t try anything until around 10 months just kept turning her head away. Finally got 2 baby food jars of puree that she liked so used them for every meal to get her used to eating. She’s dropped all bottles apart from 1 x bedtime one which I’m absolutely fine with. But we literally have to have the same meal every day. Luckily she went to nursery and started eating a touch better. But she literally has spag Bol every night for tea and the same lunch because I know she’ll eat it. I offer different things and always give her things we’re eating, but she’s just got zero interest in food & just would rather be doing other stuff. Anyone else in the same position? Or anyone been in the position with elder kids for some advice / reassurance? 😌

We’re in this phase, where she won’t eat our meals so I have to resort to a 12 month + baby meal as a safe option so I know she eats. Breakfast & lunch are fine but dinner is just chaos. I end up making 2/3 meals just so I’ve know she’s eaten! I think it will get better eventually, I think they’re discovering what they like and don’t like and are stubborn! Veg is tough aswell. Unless it’s blended into a sauce she’s not interested 🥴 fingers crossed it will get better ! X

@Courtney Yeah her spag bold are the 12 month Heinz ones. God forbid I got a Tescos own one 🥲🥲🤣🤣 x

My boy would happily not eat food and have bottles all day if he had the option 🫣 spag bowl, chilli and Shepards pie are his go to. Even then he wants it blended! My 1st born was similar (maybe not as bad as my little boy) but she’s a great eater now. I try to not offer another alternative, I did the same with my 1st born. If I feel like not enough was eaten at dinner I just make sure he has a banana or something before bed x
