@Sam what questions will they ask if you don’t mind me asking xx
@Hannah well when we had ours we already knew our little boy was autistic and we’re waiting for a diagnosis. They asked us about his development, what he’s like at home, his routines, then asked us how they could support us. For example we’re now working with the nursery to get his ehcp so he can go to an sen school, we also still have to spoon food our son so we’re all working towards him learning to feed himself with cutlery
My 18 month old had nursery senco meeting last week. They have created targets for him to work towards and if he doesn’t make progress then she will look at making referrals. Is your little one babbling or saying any words?
@Christina she doesn’t talk at all will only sing songs that’s it, her nursery she goes to I’ve notice they all talk there so I feel there is something wrong she does have speech therapy booked for 5th feb too but it’s a video call am not sure what that’s goes to do as she doesn’t like to be sat still at all she’s on the move till bedtime lol. Xx
@Sam thankyou am quite nervous now it’s getting closer, yeah my little one can’t use a fork or spoon either I have to feed her it too, and she will not sit still and if she does then it’s cause she’s tired lol. I’ve noticed at nursery all the kids sit down and when I go collect her she’s the only one playing still bless her lol xx
@Hannah aw bless her yeah my sons the same he’ll be in the corner or running around whilst other children sit/ do tasks
Yes they will just ask questions and come up with a plan to support your little girl. My son was diagnosed officially in September and he’s 3 next month
