Babies are fed on demand… not really a schedule. I feed my son whenever he’s hungry. Purées I think you have to talk to your pediatrician about that. They will suggest when is the best time to start that
my chunky girl is at a 7 1/2 to 8oz of formula every 3-4 hours. i started her on purées when she hit 4 months exact (with the okay from her doctor) she seems to love the beech nut brand. i feed her the bottle then i go ahead and spoon feed her the purée til she shows me that she’s 100% full. just follow your little ones signs that’s all you’ll need right there. goodluck momma🤍
I feed every 2 - 2 and a half hrs (he is only boobie fed) and he has roughly 5oz. He has started purèe and loves it. At this age it’s just introducing food so it’s not too much. I give it to him around 3pm after a feed but long enough before bed incase there is a reaction . But my baby doesn’t need body support and can sit on his own he can also “chew” how he is meant to when it comes to food so he was ready. Lots of babies aren’t at this age.
My baby is freshly 4 month, she eats 6-8 oz at 7 am when she wakes, then usually about 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours until bedtime at 830. She sleeps all night
Since she goes daycare during the day she eats every 3 hours about 3-4 oz and then I time 3 hours after her last bottle when I go pick her up and feed her puree (a couple spoons ) then bathe her and give her a bottle
My daughter drinks about 6 oz of formula every 3 hours. Her doctor today said to increase that to 6.5 oz every 3 hours and to introduce rice cereal once a day.
My son is formula feed with little breast fed. He started eating solids after his 4 months appointment so he eats puree for lunch and that’s it the rest is bottles he drinks 7 oz
Usually I give him 4oz every 3-4 hours. We started purées this week. Dr said to give him like 2oz right before so he’s not hangry. I’m not really counting the purées right now because I can’t tell how much he’s actually eating vs spitting out 😂
My son is almost exclusively breastfed and I just feed him on demand which is usually every hour or less LOL. It's hard to know exactly how much he's getting but I imagine it's around two or three ounces per feed. I won't be introducing purees until he shows signs of Readiness which he's nowhere near right now but I will be on the lookout for when he's closer to 6 months. You're only supposed to introduce one food at a time in case your baby has an allergic reaction and I imagine the quantity is really just how much your baby wants to eat
