@Rachael thank you ! i think there’s just so much pressure with social media everyone shows of there baby’s doing things early and im a ftm so everything is new 😅learning along the way ! it’s mainly been playing on my mind since she was in hospital at 8months and the doctors had abit of a go at me because she was still just on milk asif i hadn’t tried 🫠x
Also, remember heath visitor appointments are not compulsory so if it's giving you too much anxiety then you can decline their services
@Kierrah she’s my first so just getting used to it all still i suppose ! they really are all so different , he is gorgeous 🥰
For the sitting, try putting something infront of her to keep her attention so she doesnt give up, i used one of the activity cubes so it encouraged her to sit up straight to mess with the beads and toys and also keep her attention to build the muscles. This really helped her sit. The rest i cant help with as she doesnt do them😂
@Rachael we tried this with her but she just looses concentration quite easy or recently she just wants to be on her front since she’s learnt to lift herself up with her arms 🤣xx
All 3 of mine were different, my first didn’t crawl till 10 months. My younger 2 have been more forward physically but still different than one another. All 3 have been raised the same etc so it’s just when they’re ready!
Crawling is 7-12 months, first word is 10-14 months, sitting unassisted is 9 months, standing is 9-12 months. Even then, they are still just guidelines. All of those you mentioned arent expected for months yet, shes only just coming into the start of the age bracket for them. My girl is army crawling she cant get up on her knees, cant stand, can babble mama and dada but isnt associating it with an actual word or us. She only rolled belly to back at 8m😂 Absolutely no need to worry!x
