baby is not standing on her own or walking yet

this is kinda a rant/talking it out. so my daughter is 1 year and 4 months old but is not standing on her own or walking much. She pulls herself up on anything and letting go sometimes for a few seconds before she holds onto something again. I try to get her to walk but she shows more interest in crawling or being held. She was born a month and a half early so I know she's on a different but still. I feel like I'm failing her like it's my fault. I see other people's 10 month old standing on there own and starting to walk. I happy for them u know but it makes me feel like something is wrong. Like I'm not doing something right.

It’s still considered developmentally normative through 18 months!! My girl isn’t walking yet either but I think some of it is stubbornness haha. They will get there ❤️

My daughter doesn’t either. Our pediatrician doesn’t seem concerned so I’m just working with her as I can. They will do things on their own time!

Mama don’t be too hard on yourself I totally understand where you’re coming from my son didn’t start walking till he was 2 - 2 1/2 it killed me made me feel like I was a horrible mother and my sons almost 4 now and is getting there for potty training. I talked to so many moms to see what I could do and they reassured me that every baby is different some will just stand up and go one day and some it takes a lot more time. You’re doing everything right, Your a great mom.

My 15 month old boy doesn't either! We have him in physical therapy once a week and they are not concerned either until 18 months. Same with pediatrician.
