struggling to wean

My baby boy is almost 13 months and still relies heavily on his formula. He barely eats any food and it’s impossible to get him to eat more than a few mouthfuls as he only wants his milk really. Does anyone else have this issue where there baby is so reliant on formula still and refuses to eat actual food most the time?

same here with my little girl 13 month 🤨

Meeee!! Have tried everything! Feeding before milk when I know he’s hungry, fun feeding, serious feeding, feeding on my lap, in the high chair, meals together, meals not together, different food and the list goes on. He loves skips (crisps) and yogurt but will only actually eat food when I physically put it into his mouth and after a couple of mouthfuls, the food gets spat out 🙃 we are still on 5 bottles a day at least! I’m just going with the flow now and not getting stressed about it. I still offer him 3 meals a day and snacks but if he wants milk I’ll give it him xxx

@Marie Cullen this is exactly the same as my little boy, he could easily demolish a whole bag of skips and will eat a yogurt but that’s about it and he’s the same after a few mouthfuls he starts spitting it out x

@Kitti Fanni glad to know i’m not the only one as haven’t actually heard of anyone who’s the same, he’s a healthy weight and a happy boy so i’m not overly concerned just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem x
