Crying at nursery pick up

So heartbreaking. I know it’s not because she doesn’t want me. I read somewhere that it’s a build up of emotion and it’s kind of out of sight out of mind. She’s settled after a minute but it’s so hard to watch x
We have the same! Goes into nursery fine almost jumps into their arms but collecting cries when he sees me or dad… I said to the nursery he does love us and like being at home I promise! 😂 I’m saying it’s cos he loves it there so much haha
Normal! It’s the reminder you’ve been gone, that they’ve missed you! Likely a bit of relief too! Definitely a build up of emotion!
My little one has been in nursery since September and to start with she would cry so much when I picked her. Like it would continue at home too and she would just want to be cuddled for like an hour solid (shes not a baby that likes to be cuddled usually) and then she would go to bed. Now when I pick her up it's turned in to excitement when she see me. Things definitely get much better, it just takes a bit of time to get there x
My LO cries on drop off and pick up. It’s so hard to keeping going when you see no light at the end of the tunnel. Just want her to settle x
It’s so hard isn’t it but she will settle! I’m sure all kids do xx
My boy is the same when nanny has him, doesn't moan or cry all day, sees me and none stop moans with me always. Super stressful isn't it xx
