Expecting Better was the best pregnancy book I read to advocate for myself through pregnancy and delivery
Keara- yes this one was good it was the first book I read as soon as I found out a was pregnant ☺️ Anna- 3 sounds interesting 👀
I really enjoyed the meghan trainor dear future mama, especially if you like an audiobook
Caroline - ooooo interesting! Let me check that out also
I hands down recommended 'Enough About the Baby' by Becky Vieira. I buy a copy for every one of my friends who is expecting their first baby. It's focused on the maternal perspective of the first year of motherhood. It has some amazing preparatory checklists and boundary setting advice. I especially appreciated the checklist for everything you should talk to your partner about before your baby arrives.
Love it!
“Reclaiming birth as a rite of passage” excellent book. Was super informative and helpful with my first. I felt super prepared.
I’ve heard really good things about “Let Them” by Mel Robbins. It’s on my list after I read Onyx Storm.
1) Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, 2) The Wonder Weeks, 3) On Becoming Babywise,
