Maternity referral

Anyone know how long it takes for first appointment with Wigan? I'm really struggling to get in touch, every time I ring I have no answer, I filled in a self referral form 4 weeks ago and have emailed in the past 2 weeks. I'm 10 weeks now and have heard nothing. Id prefer Bolton as only a 10 min drive away but they said they can't accept me due to postcode. Am I just being impatient? And am I ringing the right number? 01942 264240 every time I try it just rings out.

Managed to get through using this number 0300 707 1023 Turns out the self referral form was broken at beginning of year, around same time I filled mine in, and they didn't receive any forms from that time for anyone 🫠

You usually have to do self referral for Wigan as you live in Wigan then if you want a different hospital you also do theirs. That’s what happened with both of mine Bolton and Warrington hospitals. I then got an appointment through for hospital for 11 weeks ish then the community midwives in Wigan around 16 weeks
