I've only recently been diagnosed so I haven't seen anyone yet or got a monitor however my midwife said I would be allowed 2 slices of Wholemeal bread a day so I've just had a toastie and my baby is moving and kicking like crazy so I'm worried it's made my blood sugars high. Any advice?
I can’t tolerate any bread at all and if you eat it openly have one slice at a time and that’s only if you can tolerate it with masses of protein and fats to counteract it
Drink plenty of water afterwards and make sure you do enough exercise to start burning the glucose off
@Kathryn thank you for the advice 💗
I eat the danish white bread it’s low sugar and it don’t spike my sugars which means I don’t have to take any insulin x
