Honestly it will get better, my son’s biological dad wasn’t right for neither of us. He didn’t deserve to be a dad. I always felt guilty for not having him in my son’s life but I had to do what was best for both of us. And to be honest, even if I wanted him involved, he couldn’t have been. When my son was 7 months old I met someone, and since that day he has been the dad to my son. My son is now 3 and a couple months. And he’s never failed to be there for him. He loves him like his own 🩵 Maybe one day, your day will come and you will have someone that loves you both 🥰 but please don’t ever feel bad, you can do this. Not everyone deserves kids, but you are doing a amazing job 🥰 so are all the other mamas doing it on there own xx
I am in the same boat! I really want my son to have a dad but he does nothing to provide for him,I have to think of my sons best interest, they will grow up to know who was really there and that’s how I get through most days xx
@Chardonnay this is lovely to read how you and your son has found someone worthy of both of your love. So cute!
@Mary I’m 18 and the exact same xx
I feel the same exact way bc my kids father of 7 yrs just broke up with me.
You can message me if you need to talk
Hey love. I’ve been there. He was 25 and I got pregnant the month I turned 18. He had a whole secret family I had no clue about. And when I found out I ended things and have never heard from him since. He was an awful person all around. You are the parent that stepped up and is doing the job of mom and dad. In no way would that ever make you the bad guy. I can’t speak for everyone but I will say for as bad as life feels right now it does get better. My daughter is now 4. I have recommended with my first kiss in 6th grade and we now have an almost 1 year old. I would sob and wonder what I did to deserve what happened to me. With no sunshine in sight. But I am so grateful for what happened. I grew to be a better version of myself and I am so thankful that that man is nowhere to be found. Truly my daughter and honestly I am so better without him. You got this. It’s hard. But motherhood is so rewarding.
I would be happy to talk if you ever needed. I can answer any questions to the best of my ability. I did it all on my own for a while. Now I do have a wonderful man and we’re doing it on our own. You’re you’re not alone 🩵
To add. A good strong foundation with a bomb ass momma is always better than having a half ass dad involved.
I completely understand how you feel I'm 17 with a 7 month old and my baby dad doesn't want anything to do with her I have so many questions aswell
