NHS doula service

Posting this anon due to my circumstances I escaped domestic violence recently and had to relocate 500 miles from my original location I know absolutely no one at all here and I'm due to give birth soon and don't have anyone who can be with me at the birth so I was googling and I came across a doula page that said a doula can be provided via the NHS for women in my circumstances with absolutely no support but my midwives don't know anything about this service so I was wondering if any ladies on here had accessed it and how you got one ? Bump for your post!

I used the doula access fund last pregnancy, you just apply online via their page. It's not NHS funded It's funded by the association

@Charlie I did try that on the link above but it said it needs to be done by a professional referral like my midwife or health visitor but neither of them know what it is and won't help me with it

I didn't do that I just got an email from the association but thus was 2022
