Low TSH

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy and have had blood work results showing I have low TSH. My obs/gynae has suggested I book an appointment with a endocrinologist, which I have. I am just looking for any advice/information from others who have been through the same? I have no idea what it could mean for the pregnancy and I’m concerned. Thanks in advance x

You may eventually have a Thyroid function test to see is any treatment will be needed based on your individual situation. Note that pregnancy can play havoc with with TSH levels due to physiological changes x

I have a appointment on Saturday with the endocrinologist so I think they may either re-do the tests or check my thyroid then. It’s something I’ve not heard of before and google isn’t exactly reassuring so I am hoping it’s just 1st trimester pregnancy hormones and it settles 🤞🏻 Thank you xx

I've had simular twice now an all worked out to be fine, After I'd come away from the 12w Mark. Levels returned to what's expected as normal. So i wish u good luck too.
