When are you all starting to collect colostrum? I'm so impatient and really wanna start!!

Iv just started at 36 weeks my midwife okayed it xx
Best to start at 37 weeks but I totally get your impatience, I've had some leaking and it's hard to wait when you can see it right there!
I feel the same, I’m being induced at 38 weeks, I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow and can’t wait to start!
I started at 32 weeks and I’ve had no issues

Harvesting colostrum can send you into labour so I wouldn’t do it until you’re at least 37 weeks. At the start of my pregnancy I was thinking to start harvesting colostrum at 39 weeks but I changed my mind after cos I’m too scared that it will send me into labour 😂 I can do it after I give birth anyway.
