How often are you seeing your midwife?

I'm the same. Second baby and high risk, but as it's the second I don't see them very much at all. 16, 28 and 34 weeks for me. When I asked it literally is because it's my second and they've had no concerns so far. Does seem very little to me though. X

It’s my second but I’m high risk so they seem to give me all the appointments, I think to keep a close check on my blood pressure and urine. I also have consultant appointments every 4 weeks

Must depend where you live. I asked my midwife about the reduced schedule of appointments at booking and she said they don't do that anymore - everyone gets the same. Not high risk either

8 16 24 28 32 36 38 39 40 that’s for 3rd baby low risk. I know first baby you get seen even more than this

I was high risk , it was my first baby, I saw my midwife 3 times before I gave birth, I never did a birthing plan or anything !

My surgery midwife I’ve only seen for booking, 16 and nothing until 36 I’m high risk but only seen consultant twice so far at 12 weeks and 28

Literally the same! I saw a community midwife at my booking appointment. Saw my actual midwife at 16W but she was rushing me out of the door and then saw another community midwife at 28W. Hopefully will be seeing my actual midwife at 34W but at this point I don't think it even matters. Have my health visitor coming out next week though!

I see my midwife every few weeks 👀 in the front of our yellow folder it says how often but don't know if that's a Norfolk thing or a national thing. Saw them at 28 then next is at 31 weeks. First baby but in my folder it says you still see midwife a few times between 8-40weeks

I think I’m seeing mine next week and will be 29 weeks but that was my 28 week appointment then I will see her at 32 weeks then every 2 weeks I think she said… before that I saw her at 16 and 25 I think
