Chaos!

I couldve written this myself I'm frazzled everyday 🥴😖

Same! My LG is interested in something for 2 seconds then she’s bored 😭😂

We just have a free roaming baby, I let him dictate the day as much as I can, follow him from room to room, playing with him when he asks to (he prefers to play independently) I don't know if its the right approach but he helps with chores when I do them (usually more of a hinderance 😂

We try and go out twice a day, once before her nap and once after. I try and encourage her to run around lots when we are out. So yesterday we went to a baby class (Hartbeeps) in the morning and then in the afternoon went to run some errands and then went to the park for half an hour. I think having these opportunities to get her wriggles out really helps, I noticed a difference on days we are stuck inside. I also give her "jobs" as she loves to help! So I ask her to fetch things or put things in the bin and she loves it and it tires her out! Then in between we have lots of time for independent play and calm activities like reading books.

I feel the exact same, also expecting my 2nd and thinking how on earth am I going to cope 🙈🤣

@Kate I can't wait for mine to be walking so he can get his wiggles out outside! We have to make do with up and down the stairs and chasing him round crawling lol

@Tasha I was the same! I used to still take her to the library and let her crawl about in there (her leggings would come back filthy but she had fun!). And go to the park but just put her in the swings and then show her all the dogs and squirrels! Have you tried soft play? We have a local cafe with a small soft play area that's free to use so I tried it the other day and she mostly just sat in the ball pit throwing the balls around!

@Kate Oh he loves soft play when we can get there! He's had alot of sickness so we have been housebound abit more than I would like! He loves the swings though and is obsessed with dogs 💚

@Tasha He sounds just like my daughter! I know it can be exhausting but it's also such a fun age. I love seeing the joy on their faces at the little things like a dog walking past them in the pram!

Omg I really do! Hes just learnt how to pull his nappy off and keeps running around butt naked 😂 Tried the library the other day it was chaos we had to leave. He's wild. Also expecting my 2nd in June so even more fun to come haha!

The only peace and quiet I get in my house now is when he’s asleep and I’m usually falling asleep then too because he wears me out so much!! They’re beautiful but wild balls of energy

@Chloe I’ve got I candy peach so going to get the other fabric part to make it a double. We need a double stroller for a holiday tho but most ones only go up to 15kg and my toddler is a unit 🤣
