Nursery
Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat really. My little one started nursery at the beginning of January and the first two drop offs were absolutely fine, no tears and no tears on collection either. He goes two days a week from 8am-6pm. However since then, he’s crying and clinging on to me in the morning and crying at every single pick up. There is no app that shows me pictures etc throughout the day, I always call to check up on him but get the same answer every time. ‘yeah he’s absolutely fine’ I thought he would’ve settled in by now, he’s obviously too little to communicate so i have no idea what’s going on. I feel so terrible and just unsure what to do now.

My little one went through a phase after being at nursery for a couple weeks where she just wanted to cuddle for ages when we got home at night. It does eventually pass
It’ll likely be because he’s starting to realise you’re leaving him and he understands it more. My boy started nursery in September at 9 months old and other than the first few days he’s been absolutely fine at drop off and pick up but these last 2 weeks he’s started bawling at drop off because he knows I’m leaving him and he’s aware. It will pass by they’re so distracted in nursery they won’t let him just sit and cry all day x

My lo started beginning of Jan, stil not used to it and cries when I leave but settles eventually. She has her days but they have app that show me her nappy change, how much she eats. And they tell me how her day went when I pick her up x
